i dont think its fair to complain about the artists copying of images. either he traced them (which is no different really then many of the photographed panel mosaics). and besides, maybe he's no artist and this was the only way to get his story across well.
or perhaps he copied (not traced) the image which i used to do years ago when i was first trying to draw tfs. copying is how we learn. not anybody can copy an image well like he has. i still like to find ref pics for certain facial expressions or poses. i doubt im the only one that started drawing pics by copying others stuff.
although i do feel that the fun of mosaics is trying to fit an entire story in one page, i like your story arc. a great story so far and i look foward to its conclusion. the tank force are cool new characters XD
if you want to use existing images as an underlay to get proportions and perspectives, thats one thing. but flat out copying? looks tacky. especially in that last panel.
