I love the artwork, he's very VERY good. I'd love to put some colour on this when I get the chance. I keep looking at it again and again, so many great nods in the angles and postures of the Movie. A great concept too, but the story does seem a bit forced in it's execution would be the only tiny niggle.

Am I the only one that like Rodimus being the "Chosen one"?

Probably. I'm the only one that likes the Kyle Rayner Green Lantern more than Hal Jordan, so why not?

I mean, if Rodimus has Optimus to try to live up to, he'd be bound to get pretty good at it, yeah?

So, this strip's great. I love the black and white work, I dig each character's lines being reversed from the other big showdown, and I love the artwork in general, really. Awesome.

There's nothin wrong with that. The problem I have is that it was Hot Rod's fault that Optimus died in the 1986 movie. Too bad he didn't blow him away with Megatron.
