I think the character designs are very clean and very well inked, but the background doesn't mesh too well with them.

It does seem like there's a gap in the dialogue, but the piece nevertheless carries the emotional impact the writer was going for. It's a good piece.

I'll agree with Nuclear that the dialogue feels a bit stunted, but there's still that bit of hint.

The dialogue seems a bit off in this. It feels sort of stunted, like it needs maybe a bit more elaboration to make me really care about it.
